Shop
Online: browse our website, add films to the cart, or
create a “wishlist” first. All
the features you would expect from an online shop and more. Institutions can even submit Purchase
Orders and receive the goods with an invoice.
If you register and login the system will
remember your details. It is especially convenient for schools: after logging
in as a school the high school discounts will automatically displayed.

Q: What currency can I use to pay for my order?
A: All
prices on the website and in our catalogues are in Australian Dollars. All orders are invoiced in Australian
Dollars.
You can use our website’s currency converter to estimate your costs or check http://www.xe.com for general exchange rates of
the day.
Customers
from the UK: if you will pay by bank transfer to out UK account your invoice
will be in GBP.
Q: Do I have to pay
tax?
A:
Australian customers please note that GST is NOT
included in the prices.
Non-Australian customers will not be charged VAT
or any additional tax.
Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: You
can pay by Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer, Cheque, Bank Draft.
Paying
by PayPal
When you order online the website will direct
you to PayPal for secure payment
by credit card. Please note that you do not have to be a PAYPAL member for
this transaction, though you might choose this option for your convenience.
Credit card payment will incur a 3,5% surcharge.

Q: Do you accept Purchase Orders?
A: Yes,
in most cases.
If you are from an educational institution or
from a registered organization you have to quote your Purchase order Number.
From outside Australia we only accept Purchase Orders from customers who
previously purchased from us.
Please
note when ordering by Purchase Order
All goods remain the property of Contemporary Arts Media until they are paid
for in full. Payment is required within 21 days of invoice date and
late payments will attract a 5% surcharge. Without payment of your
invoice you do not have the requisite license. Using the films without
payment after 21 days is illegal and in breach of international copyright
law.
Q: My school’s purchasing policy doesn’t let me use a credit
card. Can I still order from
artfilms?
A:
Institutions are able to order without pre-payment.
Choose the “Submit
a Purchase Order” option when you are checking out. You need to quote
your Purchase Order number. If you are a new customer, we may ask for
pre-payment by a means other than credit card.
Q: Where
do you ship to?
A:
Everywhere (Almost).
Our customers order from all over the world,
from Alaska to Chile and from West Africa to East Asia.
Q: How do you ship the packages?
A: We
use Australia Post to send packages by airmail.
We find this service to be reliable and
economical. However, for an extra fee you can also request shipping by
courier. Occasionally we will
insist on shipping by courier, depending on the country you order from, but
usually we find the good old-fashioned postal services of the world will
deliver the goods to you without problem.

Q: How do I request a quote?
A: The quickest way is to create your own
quote using our wishlist function.
If you are from a high school and want to see
what discounts will apply to you, you will need to login first. You can also email us and request a quote. We will usually respond within 24
hours.
Q: Can you send a proforma invoice so I can prepay my order?
A: Yes, certainly!
Q: Can I preview DVDs before I buy them?
A: For copyright reasons we cannot send DVDs to be previewed. You can, however, watch screeners for
many of our products on this website.
Q: Can I return the DVD if it is faulty or the content is
not suitable for my course?
A:
Please read our policy on Warranty and Refund:
Quality: All orders are accepted
on a firm sale basis. Although all precaution has been taken to
provide you with a good quality copy, still some players might have problems
playing the DVDs. If you notice any problems, please contact us and we will
replace any defective film free of charge.
Content: Of course, we want our
customers to be satisfied with the product they buy. If you are dissatisfied
with a purchase you can return the item within 10 days for a refund. We require a written explanation why
you think the DVD is not suitable for your teaching purposes. You need to pay
for the postage cost only.
From private customers we are not able to accept
returns, sorry.
