In this documentary, Michiel van Erp provides a vulnerable portrait of one of the more visible Dutch artists working abroad today and the different challenges he faces. The director followed Erwin Olaf at important openings and expositions at different locations, while also filming the photographer during various, intensive fotoshoots.
